About this role
Join Astranis as an Avionics Integration Engineer to develop and validate flight-worthy electronics for high-orbit satellites serving government and enterprise customers. You'll design test systems, debug complex electrical issues, write Python automation software, and lead cross-functional test campaigns that ensure mission success.
What you'll do
- Develop automated hardware and software test solutions to validate avionics, power, propulsion, and thermal systems
- Debug complex vehicle electrical systems and multi-layer hardware-software integration issues
- Design PCBAs to interface with flight hardware and spacecraft electronics
- Write Python software to control test equipment, custom hardware, and satellites
- Lead high-visibility test campaigns with scheduling, risk mitigation, and stakeholder coordination
- Contribute to system-level issue resolution and help recruit engineering team members
