About this role
Astranis seeks a Flight Software Associate for a 12-week summer position to develop embedded and ground control software for satellites. Recent graduates will contribute to real flight systems that launch to orbit while working alongside experienced aerospace engineers.
What you'll do
- Design, write, and test embedded software for satellites
- Develop ground control and testing software
- Collaborate with engineering teams on flight-critical systems
- Debug and validate software before deployment to orbit
- Contribute to both bare-metal and RTOS-based systems
