About this role
Astranis seeks a flight software intern for summer 2027 to design, develop, and test embedded software for satellites and ground control systems. This 12-week hourly internship offers undergraduates the opportunity to work on space-bound code alongside experienced engineers.
What you'll do
- Design and write embedded software for satellites running on hardware
- Develop ground control and testing software
- Test software implementations end-to-end
- Collaborate with engineering team on challenging flight software projects
- Contribute code that may fly to orbit on operational satellites
