What you'll do
- Design flight and test harnesses for spacecraft systems
- Create wiring diagrams, schematics, and 3D layout drawings using CAD
- Define subsystem interfaces and coordinate with cross-functional teams
- Route harnesses in 3D CAD models
- Select components based on voltage, power, frequency, and data-rate requirements
- Work with production to fabricate in-house cables

- Electrical engineering fundamentals (power and data transmission)
- CAD software (Solidworks preferred)
- Harness design software (Zuken a plus)
- Spacecraft systems understanding
- Connector and wire types knowledge (MIL circular, D-Sub/microD)
- Wiring diagram and schematic creation
