Join Astranis as a Software Engineer Intern this summer to build telemetry ingestion and monitoring systems for our satellite fleet. You'll design data pipelines, anomaly detection rules, and APIs that provide mission operators real-time visibility into satellite health and performance.

What you'll do

  • Design and build monitoring rules and anomaly detection for satellite telemetry data
  • Develop client libraries, data pipelines, and query interfaces for the data platform
  • Create REST/gRPC APIs and Protocol Buffer schemas for data access
  • Collaborate with mission operations teams to define monitoring requirements
  • Contribute to time-series database architecture and optimization
  • Build tools that transform raw satellite signals into actionable operational insights
