About this role

Authorium seeks a Platform Engineer to architect and maintain the technical foundation of their government workflow platform. You'll own critical infrastructure work including authentication, integrations, and CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with engineering leadership to set reliability standards and drive platform excellence.

What you'll do

  • Design and own platform architecture including permissions, authentication, enterprise integrations, and API management
  • Collaborate with engineering leadership on platform design and translate engineering pain points into infrastructure solutions
  • Lead infrastructure code reviews, define SLOs, and drive improvements to observability and deployment safety
  • Resolve production incidents and drive technical excellence across the platform
  • Establish AI-first patterns for platform engineering using tools like Cursor and Claude
  • Build self-service systems and internal tooling to reduce engineering toil
