About this role

Authorium, a GovTech SaaS company, seeks an experienced Software Engineer to help modernize government operations by shipping complex features, driving architectural decisions, and maintaining high engineering standards. You'll work on mission-critical systems including workflow engines, document management, and AI-enabled automation alongside a collaborative, high-caliber team.

What you'll do

  • Deliver complex, high-impact features including versioning systems, approval workflows, and permission models
  • Participate in architectural decisions and contribute to Architecture Decision Records (ADRs)
  • Conduct deep code reviews and help advance automated quality gates
  • Help modularize core domain and drive technical evolution across the platform
  • Collaborate with product managers to translate ambiguous requirements into technical specifications
  • Leverage AI tools like Cursor and Claude to enhance development efficiency and establish AI-first patterns
