About this role

Automat seeks a Forward-Deployed Engineer to own customer accounts end-to-end, implementing complex business automations using AI agents and the Automat platform. You'll be the primary technical contact and trusted advisor, configuring autonomous agents to solve enterprise workflow challenges while bridging product, engineering, and customer teams.

What you'll do

  • Own customer accounts from discovery through deployment and ongoing support, serving as the single point of contact
  • Configure and orchestrate AI agents on Automat Studio to automate complex enterprise workflows and navigate legacy systems
  • Diagnose customer problems and design creative automation solutions using internal tools and AI-powered product offerings
  • Monitor and maintain deployed agent solutions, ensuring reliability and evolving them as customer needs change
  • Identify upsell opportunities and drive product expansion to improve velocity and scale for accounts
  • Act as a bridge between product, engineering, and customer teams to implement feedback and innovations
