About this role
Axon seeks a Manufacturing Engineer II to develop and optimize manufacturing processes for life-saving de-escalation devices at their Phoenix facility. You'll own process design, support production lines, evaluate automation technologies, and partner across teams to ensure quality and efficiency targets are met.
What you'll do
- Develop manufacturing processes meeting cost, quality, ergonomics, and cycle time targets
- Provide rapid support to production lines for process and equipment issues
- Research, design, and test manufacturing methods and equipment
- Evaluate and select automation, robotics, and manufacturing equipment to support production
- Create and maintain documentation including SOPs, process flowcharts, and technical manuals
- Lead Root Cause Analysis investigations and partner with Quality, R&D, and Automation teams
