About this role

Axon seeks a Mission Engineer II to embed with public safety agencies and build technical solutions that solve real operational challenges. You'll combine software engineering, customer discovery, and cross-team collaboration to deliver working products using Axon's platform, AI, and automation capabilities.

What you'll do

  • Embed with assigned agencies to understand their workflows, systems, and operational pain points
  • Build applications, dashboards, automations, and workflows using Axon products and approved tools
  • Translate customer problems into technical requirements and measure success against agreed outcomes
  • Serve as the agency's primary technical resource for Axon environment questions and critical needs
  • Document solutions and share learnings across Mission Engineering to enable reuse
  • Identify platform gaps and customer insights to inform Product and Engineering roadmaps

  • Python, JavaScript, SQL, or similar programming languages
