About this role
Axon seeks a Professional Services Engineer to lead deployment and integration of cloud-based 911 emergency response platforms for public safety agencies. You'll manage end-to-end implementations, provide technical expertise, and serve as a trusted advisor to customers in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
What you'll do
- Plan, design, and execute end-to-end deployment projects for cloud call-handling solutions
- Provide advanced technical training and knowledge transfer to customers during implementations
- Collaborate with engineering teams on complex technical solutions and troubleshooting
- Support customers during and after deployment, including after-hours installations
- Continuously improve deployment processes and documentation for efficiency
- Work across internal teams (Sales, Engineering, Customer Success) to ensure seamless project delivery

- VoIP systems (PBX, Call Center) – 8+ years
- AWS cloud infrastructure
- Network infrastructure (routers, firewalls, OSI model)
- Project planning and execution
- Technical communication and customer relations
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking
- SIP, streaming protocols (RTSP, RTMP, WebRTC)
- Cisco UCS or FreeSWITCH (preferred)
