About this role
Axon seeks a Professional Services Engineer to lead deployment and integration of modern 911 cloud platforms for emergency services organizations. You'll manage end-to-end implementations, provide technical expertise to customers, and collaborate across teams to advance public safety technology.
What you'll do
- Plan, design, and execute end-to-end deployment projects for cloud-based 911 call-handling solutions
- Deliver advanced technical training and knowledge transfer to customers during implementations
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve complex technical issues and architect solutions
- Serve as trusted technical advisor, providing ongoing support including after-hours assistance for installations
- Continuously improve deployment processes, documentation, and scalability practices
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Customer Success, and Support teams on project delivery

- VoIP systems and PBX/call center platforms (8+ years)
- AWS cloud infrastructure
- Network infrastructure (routers, firewalls, OSI model)
- Project planning and complex project execution
- Technical communication and customer relations
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking
- SIP and streaming technologies (preferred)
- Public safety systems and NG911 (preferred)
