About this role

Axon seeks a Unified Communications Integration Engineer to design and deploy a cloud-based 911 emergency communications platform. You'll integrate VoIP and RTC services, work with open-source UC solutions, and bridge technical and business stakeholders in a hybrid Seattle role focused on high-availability, secure emergency infrastructure.

What you'll do

  • Configure, troubleshoot, and deploy Carbyne's emergency communication platform and VoIP infrastructure
  • Install, integrate, and maintain PBX projects and unified communications solutions
  • Onboard new customers by translating requirements into technical specifications and solutions
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and solution specs
  • Provide technical support and training to the Operations team on 911 systems
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, R&D, Sales, and Product teams on UC initiatives

  • Linux and bash scripting

  • Audio/video codecs and encryption
  • Docker and Kubernetes (nice-to-have)
  • Network troubleshooting and diagnostics
