About this role

What you'll do

  • Own testing strategy end-to-end and define standards, tiers, and tooling for the engineering organization
  • Build and maintain unit, integration, load, and performance testing frameworks
  • Design test infrastructure that provisions realistic environments on demand using Kubernetes and containerization
  • Develop resilience and chaos testing capabilities including fault injection and failure scenario simulation
  • Reduce test flakiness through detection, quarantine, impact analysis, and parallelization
  • Build observability into testing with coverage reporting, dashboards, and failure triage tools

What they're looking for

  • Go and/or Python proficiency with test tooling experience
  • Testing frameworks (pytest, Go testing package, testify, testcontainers)
  • Integration test infrastructure design for distributed systems
  • Load and performance testing tools (k6, Locust, Vegeta, JMeter, Gatling)
  • Kubernetes and Docker fundamentals
  • CI/CD pipeline optimization and management at scale
  • Chaos engineering and resilience testing
  • Test culture and quality standards development

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation with meaningful equity
  • 100% medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage for employee and dependents
