Software Engineer
About this role
Bedrock is seeking an experienced Cloud Software Engineer to design and build core backend infrastructure powering autonomous construction equipment. You'll lead the development of fleet management systems, data services, and operational tools while collaborating with robotics and ML teams to deploy AI-driven solutions on heavy machinery across the country.
What you'll do
- Design and implement 0-to-1 backend services for autonomous operations and distributed fleet management
- Develop data-intensive visualization and monitoring systems for robotics operators
- Partner with frontend, ML, and robotics teams to architect technical solutions
- Build tooling for autonomous testing, model deployments, and field fleet management
- Establish core backend frameworks, patterns, and infrastructure standards
- Ensure high-uptime service reliability through observability and performance optimization
