About this role
Benchling seeks a Software Engineer for Platform to lead developer experience initiatives focused on accelerating the path to production. You'll design and build tooling that enables rapid, reliable code deployment while improving developer workflows across the engineering organization.
What you'll do
- Build and implement tooling for efficient development, testing, and production packaging
- Lead design of release tooling enabling code changes to production within 10 minutes
- Iterate on developer experience improvements using qualitative and quantitative feedback
- Implement feedback loops that integrate quality into software development workflows
- Champion engineering and operational patterns across the organization
- Collaborate cross-functionally to address workflow challenges impacting developer productivity
