About this role

BeyondTrust seeks a Software Development Engineer to design and maintain core platform services supporting their cybersecurity SaaS portfolio. You'll build scalable microservices, enhance system reliability through observability tooling, and drive infrastructure automation while collaborating across product teams in a remote setting.

What you'll do

  • Design and build highly scalable microservices for platform capabilities including authentication, authorization, RBAC, and reporting
  • Implement monitoring and alerting using Datadog to ensure operational visibility and proactive issue resolution
  • Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Terragrunt, and other IaC tools
  • Provide technical leadership in system design and architecture decisions across platform services
  • Participate in incident post-mortems and reliability initiatives to reduce technical debt
  • Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to align platform capabilities with business needs
