About this role
Build core backend systems and APIs for a fintech neobank serving millions of users across markets. This role focuses on designing reliable, scalable infrastructure for payments, accounts, onboarding, KYC, and other financial products while ensuring security and data integrity.
What you'll do
- Design and build backend services and APIs for onboarding, accounts, payments, cards, transfers, rewards, and KYC workflows
- Integrate with payment providers, financial partners, AI services, and third-party platforms
- Own backend quality across reliability, security, latency, observability, and incident response
- Work cross-functionally with product, frontend, mobile, and AI teams to launch features safely
- Refactor and improve existing systems to simplify processes and automate manual workflows
- Debug production issues and ensure data consistency in financial transaction systems
