Data Privacy Security Engineer

About this role

BJAK seeks a Data Privacy Security Engineer to protect customer and business data across its financial platform and cloud infrastructure. You'll implement privacy-by-design principles, secure data flows, manage regulatory compliance for SC TRM and BNM RMiT, and partner with engineering and compliance teams across AWS and GCP environments.

What you'll do

• Protect sensitive data throughout its lifecycle: collection, processing, storage, sharing, retention, and deletion
• Map data flows and conduct privacy and security risk assessments across applications, integrations, and third-party providers
• Implement encryption, tokenization, masking, anonymization, and least-privilege access controls
• Secure data pipelines, databases, warehouses, and cloud services on AWS and GCP with data engineering teams
• Evaluate customer data shared with AI vendors and define minimization, usage, retention, and access policies
• Own data and privacy controls for SC TRM and BNM RMiT including assessments, remediation, and audit support
