About this role
Box is seeking a Software Engineer III for Mobile to develop and enhance their iOS applications that serve millions of enterprise users managing content and collaboration. You'll build scalable mobile features using Swift/SwiftUI, optimize performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver polished user experiences in a flagship content management platform.
What you'll do
- Develop iOS user interfaces using UIKit and SwiftUI with focus on smooth, polished experiences
- Optimize the Box iOS app for performance, quality, and responsiveness
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to implement scalable features
- Debug technical issues including crashes and performance bottlenecks
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions and design documents
- Participate in on-call rotation to respond to and triage production issues
