Instrument Engineer
About this role
Support senior instrument engineers in designing and documenting process instrumentation systems for industrial projects. Conduct site surveys, develop as-built documentation, and prepare technical deliverables including P&IDs, loop drawings, and DCS/PLC I/O lists under direct supervision.
What you'll do
- Assist with instrument site surveys and equipment walkdowns to assess existing installations
- Develop as-built and as-found instrumentation documentation based on field observations
- Search for and compile client instrumentation documentation and technical records
- Help generate instrumentation data sheets, loop drawings, installation details, and instrument lists
- Prepare P&IDs and DCS/PLC I/O lists under senior engineer guidance
- Mark up drawings and data sheets with instrumentation and wiring details
