Mid-level network engineer supporting operational customers with mixed civilian and contractor teams at a defense contractor. Role involves configuring and sustaining Cisco/Arista networking gear, managing JIRA tickets, performing SSP compliance work, and occasional travel to remote and overseas locations.
What you'll do
- Configure and support Cisco and Arista network systems in lab and field environments
- Manage JIRA tickets and track daily engineering tasks and system updates
- Perform SSP compliance work and security-related network maintenance
- Travel to remote and OCONUS locations for equipment fielding and on-site support
- Sustain firewall and cryptographic networking equipment for operational systems
- Collaborate with team on system upgrades, configurations, and troubleshooting
