About this role
Captivation Software seeks an experienced mid-level full-stack developer with strong Java and AWS expertise for a mission-critical role in Annapolis Junction, MD. This position requires a current Top Secret/SCI security clearance and 14+ years of software engineering experience on complex government programs.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Java and AWS technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on mission-critical software projects
- Manage project tracking and documentation using Jira, Confluence, and GitLab
- Design and implement data processing solutions aligned with government standards
- Support software architecture decisions for large-scale, complex systems
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous process improvement

- Salary: $130,000–$270,000 based on experience
