Captivation Software seeks an experienced Java engineer with 14+ years of software development expertise to join a mission-focused team in Annapolis Junction, MD. The role requires proficiency in modern Java tooling, containerization, and cloud technologies, with a current Top Secret/SCI clearance mandatory.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain Java-based backend services using Git, Gradle, and modern dependency injection frameworks
- Design and implement REST APIs for distributed systems
- Build and deploy containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible
- Manage and optimize data pipelines with MongoDB and ELK Stack
- Collaborate on full-stack development including front-end UI tasks in Angular/TypeScript when needed
- Contribute to mission-critical software supporting national security objectives
