About this role

CesiumAstro seeks a Systems Engineer II to lead systems engineering activities for advanced phased array antenna products serving aerospace and defense applications. You'll define requirements, develop verification strategies, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to ensure complex systems meet technical and operational objectives throughout their lifecycle.

What you'll do

  • Develop system verification and validation strategies, methods, acceptance criteria, and verification matrices aligned with program requirements
  • Define verification configurations including hardware, software, firmware, and test environments
  • Develop and maintain verification documentation, requirements traceability matrices, and evidence packages
  • Partner with Integration & Test teams to plan, coordinate, and support system integration and verification activities
  • Evaluate test results, resolve technical discrepancies, and support corrective actions
  • Mentor junior engineers on systems engineering best practices and technical documentation
