About this role
Commonwealth Fusion Systems seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to drive the transition of fusion energy products from development into full-scale production. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new manufacturing processes and ensure successful product launches on the first shift in Devens, MA.
What you'll do
- Manage product transitions from R&D through design validation and into manufacturing scale-up
- Collaborate with product design, quality assurance, supply chain, and production teams
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for new fusion energy products
- Ensure quality standards and manufacturability requirements are met during product introduction
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions
- Support first-shift operations and maintain production efficiency
