About this role

Contact Government Services seeks an experienced CommVault Systems Engineer to design, implement, and manage enterprise backup and recovery solutions for a large federal government organization. The role involves configuring complex multi-platform backup infrastructure, troubleshooting data protection issues, and ensuring compliance with federal security standards in a geographically distributed environment.

What you'll do

  • Design and deploy scalable backup, recovery, and storage solutions using CommVault across WAN environments
  • Create and maintain primary/auxiliary copies and VM-based backups with optimal redundancy for critical data
  • Troubleshoot complex backup and recovery issues related to networking, applications, servers, and hardware
  • Provide capacity planning, analytics, and reporting through CommVault management and monitoring tools
  • Implement security patches and updates according to Federal Information Systems requirements and DISA STIGs
  • Collaborate with operations teams to develop processes and support timely backup, restore, and data replication requests
