Software Engineer, Data Products & Platform

About this role

Clay is seeking a Software Engineer for its Data Products & Platform team to build and maintain a comprehensive, constantly-updating map of companies and people that customers use for search, enrichment, and audience building. You'll resolve conflicting data sources into reliable information at scale and develop new data products based on customer needs.

What you'll do

• Evaluate data sources, resolve conflicts, and model entities and relationships for reliable customer use
• Design and prototype new data products starting from customer problems through product launch
• Build shared infrastructure and systems that accelerate future data product development
• Handle entity resolution and data quality at scale where manual verification isn't feasible
• Develop search and enrichment capabilities for company and people data
• Iterate on data models based on real customer usage and feedback
