Software Development Engineer III
About this role
CLEAR seeks a Senior Software Engineer III to design and deliver scalable solutions across their secure identity platform, working across full-stack development with Java, Kafka, and AWS. You'll own complex technical problems from architecture through production, partnering with product and security teams to enable frictionless experiences across travel, enterprise, and financial services.

- Own and architect complex technical solutions from design through deployment
- Develop full-stack code while establishing best practices in testing, documentation, and observability
- Partner with product and stakeholders to define requirements and solve intricate problems
- Drive engineering excellence and continuous improvement in technology and processes
- Mentor and collaborate with less experienced engineers on the team
- Advance capabilities across privacy, security, data modeling, and system architecture
