About this role
Clear Street is seeking an experienced Data Analytics Engineer to automate compliance and finance regulatory processes on the Control Engineering team. You'll design scalable solutions leveraging Python, SQL, and Snowflake to process large datasets, build reconciliations, and generate regulatory reports while serving as a technical lead guiding stakeholders and engineering standards.
What you'll do
- Automate compliance and finance regulatory workflows by building data processing solutions from the data warehouse
- Partner with Compliance, Finance, and Treasury teams to translate business requirements into technical designs and scalable solutions
- Design and implement reconciliations and clean reporting systems for regulatory obligations
- Provide technical leadership including code review, design guidance, and work prioritization
- Establish and evolve technical standards and best practices for the team
- Troubleshoot complex data problems and determine solutions across multiple business domains
