About this role

Join this early-stage agentic platform as a founding engineer to architect and own the agent layer end-to-end. You'll build production systems that integrate with gig economy workflows, design self-healing autonomous systems, and establish patterns and standards for how agents are built across the company.

What you'll do

  • Own the full agent layer including context engineering, self-learning systems, evals, and agent harness architecture
  • Build a compounding knowledge base that lets new integrations benefit from accumulated learnings across systems
  • Design and ship self-healing workflows that autonomously detect, diagnose, and recover from production failures
  • Create and maintain the meta-harness enabling rapid agent creation, evaluation, and evolution
  • Establish patterns, standards, and best practices for how all agents at the company are built and measured
  • Mentor and eventually lead the team building agentic systems as the company grows

  • Agentic software development with production experience in the last year
  • TypeScript and LLM integration
  • Agent evaluation frameworks and tracing in production
  • Context engineering and self-learning system design
  • Autonomous failure detection and self-healing workflow implementation
  • Harness architecture and eval-driven iteration
  • CS fundamentals with degree from well-regarded university
  • Startup experience or founding mentality
