About this role
Join an early-stage healthtech startup as a founding engineer building AI-powered revenue cycle management software for EMS agencies. You'll own full-stack development from architecture through deployment, working directly with customers to help 911 services recover denied insurance claims.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end product development including architecture, code, deployment, and on-call support
- Build customer-facing features by collaborating directly with billers, fire chiefs, and operations leaders
- Develop automation solutions that reduce manual billing work and increase revenue recovery
- Make product and design decisions with strong UX sensibility and customer feedback
- Deploy rapidly and iterate based on continuous customer feedback
- Collaborate with founding team in hybrid San Francisco environment

- Full-stack development (1–3 years end-to-end product experience)
- React and frontend development with UX sensibility
- Go and backend development
- PostgreSQL and database design
- Google Cloud infrastructure and deployment
- APIs, LLMs, and RAG architectures
- Customer-facing feature development and requirements translation
- Strong CS fundamentals and attention to detail
