About this role
Join a pre-seed AI infrastructure startup as the founding engineer, tasked with scaling a revenue-generating product into agentic infrastructure for millions of users. You'll own the full technical architecture alongside the founder, with a clear path to CTO, shipping production systems weekly across backend, infrastructure, frontend, and AI agent systems.
What you'll do
- Architect and rebuild the product into scalable agentic infrastructure with agent runtime, orchestration, and verification systems
- Design and operate reliable agent systems including memory management, verification, and orchestration machinery
- Own end-to-end technical decisions across backend, infrastructure, frontend, and agent layers
- Establish technical stack, quality standards, and engineering culture from inception
- Deploy weekly updates to live production systems serving real businesses
- Guide technical direction and hiring as the team expands toward CTO responsibilities
