About this role
Join a pre-seed startup as the first engineering hire to scale an AI-native service infrastructure from a live product into a production system serving millions. You'll own the full technical vision—from agent runtime and backend systems to frontend—working directly with the founder with a clear path to CTO.
What you'll do
- Architect and rebuild the product into scalable agentic infrastructure handling orchestration, memory, and verification
- Design and operate the agent runtime ensuring reliability for real business users
- Own full-stack development across backend, infrastructure, frontend, and agent systems
- Establish technical standards, select the engineering stack, and define engineering culture from the ground up
- Ship production features on a weekly cadence with real users depending on the systems

- Production software shipping (2+ years or founder equivalent)
