About this role

Join an early-stage healthtech and AI-driven e-commerce startup as a founding full-stack engineer responsible for building and launching a consumer membership platform. You'll own the entire engineering function, making architectural decisions while shipping a Shopify-based web app, a React Native mobile app, and AI-powered internal tools.

What you'll do

  • Build and launch a Shopify/Recharge-based consumer membership web application with ongoing optimization and maintenance
  • Optimize web performance including page speed, bundle sizes, and third-party script management across the storefront
  • Ensure privacy compliance with CPRA and related regulations through tracking, consent, and data handling tools
  • Make engineering architecture decisions around database selection, security, vendors, and technology stack
  • Lead iOS-first React Native mobile app development from the ground up post-MVP
  • Build and deploy LLM-powered agents and internal automation tools with monitoring and safeguards
