About this role

Join an early-stage AI-driven pricing platform as a Founding Product Engineer, owning entire product modules end-to-end across backend, frontend, and AI-agent systems. You'll design architecture for LLM-assisted features, build robust financial logic, and establish engineering culture on a small team shipping to B2B customers.

What you'll do

  • Own product modules end-to-end: scope with customers, design APIs, build UI, deploy, and iterate in production
  • Design and evolve agentic AI architecture across Slack bots, terminal UIs, web interfaces, and vendor integrations using MCP/FastMCP
  • Move pricing and business logic into secure backend services using FastAPI, Python, and MongoDB with Pydantic models
  • Lead technical discussions and architectural reviews to ensure systems are robust, extensible, and financially accurate
  • Establish testing, observability, deployment, and monitoring practices for AI-driven features; mentor peers on best practices
  • Champion AI-native development practices where agents assist with code generation and automated review gates
