About this role
Join a seed-stage AI company building verifiable, correct-by-construction training data using formal systems like physics simulators and proof engines. You'll work directly with founders on data generation pipelines that unlock frontier model capabilities, choosing between a research scientist track (novel methods, experimentation) or research engineer track (scalable systems, infrastructure).
What you'll do
- Design and build systems generating high-quality, verifier-grounded training data for LLMs, robotics, and scientific AI
- Develop pipelines integrating formal systems (simulators, proof systems, executable tests, oracle databases) to validate data at scale
- Run experiments measuring data quality and its impact on downstream model performance
- Collaborate with founding team to define research directions and prioritize high-impact bets
- Translate research insights into production-quality implementations (engineers) or push methodological frontiers (scientists)
- Prototype quickly and iterate on solutions in a fast-moving, early-stage environment
