About this role

Coder seeks an AI Enablement Engineer to support internal teams building with AI by removing technical and process blockers, gathering user feedback to guide roadmap priorities, and shipping infrastructure improvements and reusable tools. You'll combine hands-on technical work with employee support, acting as a bridge between user needs and product execution within the Smart AI platform.

What you'll do

  • Partner with employees to troubleshoot Smart AI challenges, explain best practices, and unblock technical or workflow issues
  • Gather cross-functional feedback to identify recurring user needs and translate them into roadmap requirements
  • Build and refine reusable journeys, templates, system instructions, and paved paths that scale enablement
  • Contribute to infrastructure enhancements for the development environment, including integrations, APIs, and model access
  • Create documentation, examples, and guidance as new Smart AI capabilities are introduced
  • Host office hours, workshops, and enablement sessions to build employee confidence and AI working habits

What they're looking for

  • Engineering background with hands-on software building experience
  • Quick learning of new tools and technologies through independent study
  • User empathy and ability to communicate across technical skill levels
  • Pattern recognition and product thinking to identify systemic solutions
  • Problem-solving and requirements gathering transitioning to implementation
  • AI tool familiarity (Claude Code, LLM workflows, prompt engineering)
  • Technical documentation and teaching ability
  • Judgment balancing one-off issues versus systems problems
