About this role
Cohere is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build autonomous AI agents for enterprise security that handle alert triage, threat modeling, and vulnerability assessment. You'll develop agent orchestration systems, implement security controls for sensitive data interaction, and ship production-ready capabilities in resource-constrained environments.
What you'll do
- Build autonomous security agents for alert triage, code reviews, threat modeling, and vulnerability assessment
- Develop agent orchestration systems to automate repetitive security tasks
- Design and implement security controls for AI agents handling sensitive enterprise data
- Create infrastructure enabling agents to operate safely in high-trust environments
- Ship production-ready agent capabilities optimized for resource-constrained environments
- Research novel security patterns for AI agent systems and conduct security testing

- Python development with significant production experience
- Building or working with autonomous systems and AI agents
- Security principles: session management, authentication, authorization
- Full-stack development and debugging unfamiliar codebases
