Remote-first Site Reliability Engineer role focused on maintaining healthcare SaaS infrastructure across AWS, MERN applications, and PySpark data pipelines. You'll spend 60% on incident response and operational troubleshooting, and 40% building automation to reduce manual toil.

What you'll do

  • Maintain uptime and performance of AWS-hosted MERN applications and backend data architectures
  • Manage AWS Lambda serverless execution, optimizing cold starts, memory allocation, and timeouts
  • Monitor and execute PySpark data workflows, triaging and recovering failed data processing jobs
  • Participate in on-call rotation to rapidly triage and mitigate production outages and data bottlenecks
  • Enforce HIPAA, SOC2, and HITRUST compliance across runtime environments and data pipelines
  • Build dashboards and alerts for Node.js event loops, PySpark job metrics, and data pipeline health
