What you'll do
- Perform fire protection engineering services including code consulting, sprinkler design, fire alarm design, and performance-based fire engineering under P.E. supervision
- Develop plans, specifications, and inspection reports with accuracy and adherence to professional standards
- Conduct building code analyses, egress analyses, fire detection system reviews, and hydraulic calculations for water supply systems
- Assist in resolving design problems through field investigations, detailed design work, and review of computations
- Apply engineering calculations for means of egress, building area limits, sprinkler water supplies, and smoke control equipment
- Prepare CAD documents and submit progress reports to Project Managers
