About this role
Join Coinbase's Platform product group as a Data Engineer Intern for a 12-week summer 2027 program building and maintaining data pipelines that power analytics and machine learning across the company. You'll work with senior engineers on scalable infrastructure, data integration, and governance while learning industry best practices in a hybrid San Francisco environment.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain data pipelines ensuring data integrity for analytics and ML workloads
- Develop scalable data infrastructure using Python and cloud technologies
- Integrate and manage data from internal systems and external APIs
- Contribute to analytical investigations with senior team members and document findings
- Apply data engineering best practices including governance, security, and performance optimization
- Partner with analytics engineering and cross-functional product teams
