Coinbase is seeking a Software Engineer to join its Developer Infrastructure team, responsible for building and enhancing essential tools and platforms for engineering efficiency. This remote role involves tackling challenges in CI and deployment systems, with a strong emphasis on high reliability and security standards.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain core developer-infrastructure services
- Improve metrics relating to build, CI time, and deployment speed
- Manage components from implementation to monitoring
- Write high-quality, production-ready code
- Collaborate with teams to address their needs
- Participate in technical design discussions and drive projects independently

- 2+ years of production software experience
- Experience with distributed systems and languages like Go
- Operational instincts regarding reliability and security
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of CI/CD and deployment tools
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, AWS, and Terraform
- Experience with observability and performance tooling
- Ability to utilize generative AI responsibly
