Mechanical Forward Deployed Engineer
About this role
CoLab seeks a Mechanical Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with enterprise customers and optimize their use of AI-powered design and PLM tools. You'll bridge engineering expertise with technical problem-solving, working cross-functionally to identify product gaps, implement new workflows, and scale successful methodologies across customer organizations.
What you'll do
- Embed with enterprise customers to optimize CoLab AI tools (AutoReview, Operator) and usage patterns
- Investigate and resolve complex engineering data and integration challenges across PLM, ERP, QMS systems
- Partner cross-functionally to test and deploy new CoLab workflows within customer environments
- Collaborate with product teams to identify feature gaps and refine AI capabilities
- Build technical documentation, playbooks, and repeatable frameworks from successful implementations
- Validate AI-generated results using mechanical engineering expertise and ensure engineering rigor
