IT Support Engineer
About this role
Collective seeks an IT Support Engineer to manage a modern, Mac-focused IT infrastructure combining systems engineering, endpoint management, and identity administration. You'll split time between deep technical work on fleet automation and identity systems, and hands-on support for a small, fast-moving team in San Francisco.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain secure IT infrastructure across identity, endpoints, network, and SaaS integrations
- Build automation for employee lifecycle workflows (joiner/mover/leaver) and internal tooling in Python
- Troubleshoot advanced macOS issues and manage fleet through MDM deployment, configuration, and compliance
- Administer identity provider, Google Workspace, and trace provisioning issues across HRIS-to-SaaS chain
- Manage office network including Wi-Fi, wired LAN, DHCP/DNS, and end-to-end connectivity troubleshooting
- Own IT projects end-to-end and deliver service-desk support with clear communication and documentation
