Technical Support Engineer
About this role
Coram AI seeks a Technical Support Engineer to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues for its AI-powered video security platform. You'll handle ticket triage, diagnose networking and system problems, guide customer onboarding, and collaborate with engineering teams while working onsite in Sunnyvale.
What you'll do
- Triage and resolve customer support tickets via Intercom and email, handling multiple concurrent cases
- Troubleshoot networking, device, and backend service issues in production environments
- Support customer setup, onboarding, and system configuration
- Diagnose and resolve Linux-based system and network connectivity problems
- Escalate complex issues to engineering and collaborate on process improvements
- Contribute to support automation systems to enhance efficiency
What they're looking for
- Production networking troubleshooting (IP, DHCP, DNS, routing, firewalls, NAT)
- Linux command-line and system diagnostics
- Packet-level network analysis and L1–L3 understanding
- Clear technical communication for diverse audiences
- Problem-solving under time pressure
- Bash or Python scripting (nice to have)
- API documentation reading and usage
- Customer-facing technical support experience
