About this role

Cowboy Space Corp. is seeking a Fluids Engineer to design and develop critical fluid system hardware for their space-based solar energy infrastructure. This role spans the entire hardware lifecycle, from initial concept and analysis to testing and flight deployment, ensuring reliability and performance in challenging space environments. You'll be instrumental in developing propulsion, thermal management, and fluids systems for launch vehicles.

What you'll do

  • Develop fluid storage hardware like tanks and pressure vessels.
  • Design fluid routing systems including tubing, manifolds, and fittings.
  • Perform hydraulic and pneumatic analysis to ensure system performance.
  • Conduct structural analysis and validate designs with testing.
  • Generate detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
