Software Engineer, Edge

About this role

Cribl is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Edge team to design and maintain data collection agents running across Windows, Linux, and Mac environments, serving hundreds of thousands of nodes. You'll own the full development lifecycle while collaborating with product and design teams to deliver high-performance telemetry solutions.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and optimize cross-platform data collection agent software for Windows, Linux, and Mac
• Develop back-end features and own the complete development lifecycle from design through testing and maintenance
• Collaborate with UX designers, Product Managers, and engineers to translate requirements into performant solutions
• Create automated tests and comprehensive test plans to ensure code quality and feature reliability
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotations to maintain and support SaaS products
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code meeting customer needs and quality standards
