Associate Construction Engineer - Power Infrastructure
About this role
Crusoe seeks an Associate Construction Engineer to support large-scale power generation projects for AI data center infrastructure. You'll work alongside senior engineers in field execution, managing inspections, documentation, and coordination activities with significant on-site presence during construction and commissioning phases.
What you'll do
- Support field engineering team with inspection, documentation, and construction coordination on active power generation sites
- Review and manage contractor submittals, RFIs, and Field Engineering Directives with engineering team coordination
- Conduct quality and workmanship inspections to verify compliance with specifications, drawings, and applicable codes
- Track construction progress against project schedules, maintain open items logs, punch lists, and change orders
- Support commissioning activities including functional tests, loop checks, and performance verification
- Maintain field documentation, daily reports, inspection records, and as-built redlines for record documents
