About this role

CWS seeks a DevSecOps Engineer to design and manage secure, automated enterprise applications within the NIEHS federal environment. You'll integrate development, security, and operations practices across the full software lifecycle while ensuring compliance with federal standards and supporting mission-critical infrastructure.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement automated deployment pipelines and infrastructure-as-code solutions
  • Integrate security controls and vulnerability assessments throughout the SDLC
  • Manage application lifecycle including testing, deployment, and monitoring
  • Collaborate with developers, DBAs, security teams, and stakeholders on enterprise solutions
  • Ensure compliance with federal security requirements and modernization initiatives
  • Analyze business systems and translate requirements into scalable infrastructure
